King Midas in rehearsals!
"King Midas and the Miraculous Golden Touch" opens on January 13th at The Company OnStage. King Midas is loveable, irresponsible and wants even more gold. Ignoring warnings from a wise woman, Midas accepts the gift of the Golden Touch from a mysterious stranger and his delight in turning everything into gold quickly turns to despair when he discovers that his gift has become a terrible curse. Children will learn along with King Midas that some things are more important than gold in this clever and wonderfully entertaining story based upon the ancient Greek myth and legend.
